Goldberg From The Mighty Ducks Has Seen Better Days…

“How are you feeling today Goldberg?”

“Lean and mean!”

Safe to say Greg Goldberg has seen better days. It’s been nothing but a downward spiral for this standout goalie from Philly. An absolute fall from grace as a matter of fact. A former state champion, Junior Goodwill Games gold medalist and exceptional goal scorer for The Mighty Ducks has found himself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Shaun Weiss who portrayed Greg Goldberg in The Mighty Ducks franchise was arrested early this morning for public intoxication in Northern California. This isn’t his first run in with the law though, he was sentenced to 90 days in a county jail after being caught with possession of a methamphetamine. Not a good look. He was also sentenced to an 150 day sentence in jail for stealing up to $150 worth of merchandise from Fry’s Electronics. How could you Goldberg?

(Credit to TMZ for the mug shot)

This guy is a very very very rough 39 years old. Like good god… When I saw this mug shot I thought Crack! Crack! Crack! instead of Quack! Quack! Quack! He honestly reminded me of a cracked out homeless guy who just hangs out outside of bodegas in Queens trying to bum cigarettes off of people. If that’s what 39 is looking like nowadays just kill me now. Put me out, quickly. It just goes to show you that no matter how successful you can become at hockey in the state of Minnesota that meth will always fuck you over in the end. Hate to see it.

Hopefully our guy Goldberg gets the help he needs and can crawl out of this hole he fell in. It’s a shame seeing someone you watched your whole childhood in movies throughout the years end up like this. Best of luck Shaun.
