New York Yankees Officially Add Adam Ottavino To An Already Stacked Bullpen

Another day, another brilliant move by the wizard Brian Cashman. As we are all swept up in the Manny Machado news of real offers and fake offers, Cashman has been sitting quietly in the shadows, as he has done soon often and pounced on a highly touted free agent.

Adam Ottavino, a righty relief pitcher formerly with the Colorado Rockies has come to term with the Yankees on a 3 year, $27 million deal. Amazing! Not only does this solidify the Yankees on having the best bullpen in baseball possibly of all time but it takes a huge player off the table for the Boston Red Sox. Lets take a live look in at Boston’s current bullpen situation:

Not a great look for the boys up in Beantown. But for the Yankees this makes a bullpen up of Aroldis Chapman, Dellin Betances, Zach Britton, Adam Ottavino, Chad Green and Tommy Kahnle. FIL-THY. You can technically throw a starter for four innings a game and let the bullpen do the rest at that point. It’s unbelievable.

All the credit to Cashman though, he turned the departure of David Robertson, Chasen Shreve and AJ Cole into Zach Britton and Adam Ottavino. The wizard has struck again and I am so excited to watch pitches like this come April:
